What if one weekend could change the rest of your life?
Design a life you’re proud of—built on purpose, values, and sustainable rhythms.
If you’ve ever felt like Bilbo Baggins—“Thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread”—you’re not alone.
Most people hit a point where they’re accomplishing a lot but feeling less and less like themselves. They’ve built careers, families, and responsibilities… but not a framework that helps them live with clarity, purpose, and alignment. That tension catches up with all of us sooner or later.
Here’s what I’ve discovered after learning the hard way and working with business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives—the answer to burnout isn’t work-life balance. It’s the right rhythms. Like a garden left untended, a life without intentional cultivation creeps toward chaos and confusion.

Here's where a Life Plan Weekend comes in.
Here’s what it is: over the course of a weekend, I’ll sit down with you for intentional, guided time to map out your life plan. It’s a set of guiding principles and accompanying values—not a rigid roadmap but a compass—directing your actions and decisions; helping you find a clearer vision of who you are and where you’re going. Most of us live reactively, letting circumstances dictate our direction. Instead having a compass in your hands—guiding principles that bring peace, alignment, rest, and confidence that you’re headed in the right direction.
For too long we’ve compartmentalized our lives. Similar in nature to what ancient thinkers and leaders called a “rule of life”, a life plan is a clear strategy to center your WHOLE life around your core values and the things necessary to flourish as a human being. Author Stephen Macchia captured it perfectly: “A rule of life allows us to clarify our deepest values, our most important relationships, our most authentic hopes and dreams, our most meaningful work, our highest priorities. It allows us to live with intention and purpose in the present moment.”

RHYTHMS OF REST ℠
A proven framework for sustainable success without sacrificing what matters most
Much like a heart, where all four chambers must work together for proper blood flow, your life depends on four key rhythms working in harmony: Relational, Emotional, Spiritual, and Tangible. Over the weekend, we'll examine each of these four chambers, and develop personalized strategies to bring them all into alignment.
Cultivating deep connections that energize rather than drain you, even when your schedule is packed.
Creating space to process, reflect, and heal instead of just pushing through everything.
Staying grounded in faith or a robust philosophy of life that provides meaning deeper than your next deadline or achievement.
Caring for your body, finances, and work in ways that support rather than sabotage your other rhythms.
By the end of our weekend together, you'll walk away with:
Core personal values
that drive every decision
A clear purpose statement that anchors your direction
Relational rhythms for your most important relationships
Emotional practices that actually work in real life
Spiritual disciplines that ground you (regardless of your background)
Tangible habits for sleep, movement, work, and finances
90-day action plan to implement immediately
Quarterly review framework to stay aligned as life shifts
All packaged together in your Master Plan, a living document that becomes your compass—not a rigid roadmap, but guiding principles that bring clarity when everything else feels chaotic.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Phil's Life Plan Story.
"I hesitated to commit two full days to a life planning process—wondering if it was really worth the time investment. Those two days turned out to be worth their weight in gold. The comprehensive framework gave me a way to build momentum year over year instead of starting from scratch every January, and it created space to process disappointments and emotional weight I'd been shoving aside just to get stuff done."

THE TRANSFORMATION
Val's Life Plan Story.
"I went from working 5-6 nights a week—physically present with my family but mentally absent—to protecting 2-3 nights off and a full day of rest. Kent helped me see that giving myself permission to rest didn't mean I was lazy; it meant I'd be more efficient and a better leader. Now I actually watch movies with my kids without opening my laptop, and I'm moving forward faster because I'm not running on empty."

The Business ROI of a Life Plan Weekend
In the life plan, work and vocation is one integrated “account” within the whole—not something optimized at the expense of everything else. When the other rhythms are neglected, business performance eventually pays the price through poor decisions, strained relationships, short-term thinking, and burnout. When those rhythms are aligned, the return compounds.

FAQs
What exactly is a Life Plan?
It's your personalized framework built on the the four core rhythms of life. Not a rigid roadmap—a compass. It helps you make decisions with clarity, build sustainable habits, and create a life that reflects who you actually are and what actually matters.
Why does this take a full weekend?
Because real clarity doesn't happen between meetings. You need mental space, emotional distance, and uninterrupted time to think deeply, reflect honestly, and map out a meaningful direction. Plus, we want time to actually relate—not just work.
Do I need to be in crisis to benefit?
Not at all. Some clients are on the edge of burnout. Others are successful but scattered. The framework works wherever you are because it addresses the system, not just symptoms.
Is this religious?
No. While the Spiritual rhythm includes practices like reflection and purpose, the framework works for anyone—secular, spiritual-but-not-religious, or faith-based. It centers on universal human questions: Who am I? What matters most? How do I want to live?
I've tried planners and goal systems. How is this different?
Those focus on doing more efficiently. This focuses on living more intentionally. The RHYTHMS OF REST℠ framework isn't about squeezing more in—it's about getting your core rhythms in sync so you can achieve without sacrificing what matters most.
What if my life changes after the weekend?
Your Life Plan is designed to breathe with your life. You'll revisit it quarterly to adjust as seasons shift. The rhythms stay constant; how you apply them evolves.
Do you offer follow-up support?
Yes. After your Life Plan weekend, you can choose quarterly check-ins or more regular coaching to stay aligned and refine your plan. (Note: Individual coaching availability is limited depending on Kent's schedule. You can apply here.)

"Kent's approach to coaching is truly unique. He doesn't just offer one-size-fits-all solutions; he takes the time to understand you as a leader and the specific challenges you face."
"I loved hearing Kent speak! His talk gave me fresh insight into burnout and overwhelm. Balance is elusive and hard to pinpoint. Instead, Kent encouraged us to explore different dimensions of life that create an overall sense of wholeness."
