Succeed at work, thrive in life!
As a business owner, executive, or entrepreneur, you are probably an ambitious, driven, high achiever. You are a go-getter who will do almost anything to accomplish your vision.
You get things done and dream of changing the world. I love that about you.
But there’s a dark side, too.
Research shows:
- 42% of business owners overall feel burned out and 62% of minority-owned business owners reported the same experience (Yahoo Finance)
- The average entrepreneur works 66 hours per week as compared to 47 hours per week for workers (Technology Advice)
- Over 73% of business owners admit to having felt lonely while running their company, with a third saying that this is how they feel regularly (CEO Today Magazine)
- 73% of entrepreneurs are affected by mental health conditions (Startup Grind)
Life and business can often feel like their moving at an unsustainable pace. When this happens, overwhelm can set in, paralyzing you and your team and making you less effective.
Kent’s approach is truly unique. He doesn’t just offer one-size-fits-all solutions; he takes the time to understand you as a leader and the specific challenges you face.

Work-life Balance Is Not the Answer
Owning or leading a business carries a lot of responsibility, and chances are you feel like you are dropping the ball in one area or another or like you need to choose between a successful career and a healthy and fulfilling personal life.
I believe you can have both.
How do you balance the most important areas of life?
The answer is you don’t.
Balance implies equality, but life is not equal. During an average twenty-four hour period, we spend eight hours sleeping (if we’re lucky), eight hours working (if we’re lucky), and we have the other eight hours to cram everything else in – family, fun, hobbies, exercise, and community to name a few.
Life is anything but equal.
I’ve seen Kent demonstrate remarkable resiliency, tenacious faith, and life-giving leadership. He’s the type of person that shines when the pressure is strongest. I count him as a loyal friend and a go-to partner when I need fresh vision, faith, and next steps. Kent has helped shape strategic decisions and pushed me to develop better rhythms. I heartily recommend him as your coach!

Beat Overwhelm and Achieve Sustainable Success
As a performance and leadership coach, we will work to integrate your personal and professional lives and improve your performance in every area, starting with your most prominent pain points.
My core philosophy of coaching is this:
True success comes through wholeness and integration, not just achievement.
While integrity is about our character, it goes beyond that. Integrity comes from the Latin word, “Integer” and it means to be “Intact, whole, sound, or complete.”
After leading and founding organizations for over twenty years, I learned the hard way that an unsustainable pace only leads to one thing…
Overwhelm and burnout.
High performers and overachievers are a different breed of people. You deserve someone who can relate, actively listen, and coach you to success in life and business. Using my R.E.S.T. Framework, I will help you identify the most important areas of life and where to invest your precious time and energy to get the best results.
You’re in the driver’s seat, and I want to be in the passenger seat with you, helping you navigate adversity and opportunity so you can lead well in every area.
Listen to Kent talk about his journey from church planting to business, the moment when he found himself crying on the floor and unable to move forward because of burnout, and share about his simple framework to beat overwhelm and achieve wholeness and work-life integration.
Your Plan to Achieve Sustainable Success
Coaching Worked for Me
After leading and founding organizations for over twenty years, I learned the hard way that an unsustainable pace leads to one place…
Overwhelm and burnout.
I’ve had my share of struggles through the years. I’ve battled through addiction, disappointments, burnout, financial lack, my own ego, marital difficulties, and other difficulties all while leading organizations. I get it. Life can often be disappointing and overwhelming. Through the crucible of life and much trial and error, I learned to integrate my personal and professional life in a sustainable and fulfilling way. Now I want to help you. Coaching helped me get unstuck and move toward my dreams, desires, and a more fulfilling life. It gave me the push to finally start my own business; something I had dreamed of doing for years. With the help of a coach, I was able to see things from a new perspective, identify obstacles that were keeping me stuck, and move forward with confidence toward my goals while doing it in a sustainable and fulfilling way.
What Is Coaching?
Leaders thrive on movement. A coach comes alongside motivated people who want to grow with support, encouragement, and accountability. I desire to draw out what is already in you by believing in you, actively listening, asking great questions, working with you to define clear action steps, and holding you accountable to those steps. In the words of the late John Whitmore,
Coaching is unlocking a persons potential to maximize their growth.
Coaches are “change experts who help leaders take responsibility and act to maximize their potential.” (Dr. Joseph Umidi) Here’s how coaching differs from other disciplines:
- Counseling addresses past hurts and feelings to you find healing
- Teaching gives acquired knowledge to a pupil
- Mentoring is sharing wisdom and experience from your journey to help others
- Consulting is giving expert advice to other professionals
A Coach is a thinking partner who comes alongside you with support, encouragement, and accountability to help you realize your dreams, goals, and desires and maximize your potential.
Successful coaching begins with a leader who is ready to take responsibility for their own life.
“I’ve had the privilege of learning from Kent for over 15 years. Wise. Centered. Creative. Resilient. Those are all words I have watched him model for me and countless others. It’s my pleasure to recommend Kent to you as a thinking partner and leadership coach!”

FAQ’s
- Is coaching for you?
- What will we do and how often will we meet?
- How much does it cost?
Is Coaching for You?
Coaching is for motivated leaders who desire to take initiative, embrace responsibility, and lead with courage. In short, if you are not motivated to grow, coaching won’t help you. Simply having the right information doesn’t bring transformation; applying that information in the context of our experiences and relationships does. As your coach, I am trained to come alongside you to help you experience lasting change and achieve your goals. Some of the best times to employ a coach are times of major transition or when you are feeling stuck. Here are some common issues that coaching can help you with:
- Discover your purpose in life and align it with your career
- Integrate your personal life with your professional life so it can be fulfilling and sustainable
- Earn more money so you can do more of what you love and less of what you don’t
- Gain more time to do the things you are passionate about
- Navigate a major life or leadership transition
- Find clarity and know where to put your focus
- Move forward in areas of life where you feel stuck
- Perform at a higher level in your current role
- Equip others to thrive
- Create or recalibrate your systems and processes
Regardless of the industry, coaching can help you reach your potential.
How Often Will We Meet?
We will meet 2-3 times per month for fifty minutes at a time. Because life happens outside of meetings, you will also have reasonable access to me outside of meetings as well. I’m here to walk alongside you and help you shoulder the weight of leading a business.
How Much Does It Cost?
The first step is to apply. Once I receive your application, we can jump on a call and discuss details…
