Work should not leave you empty.
Hi, I’m Kent. I help high performers and over-achievers (like myself) create profitable, sustainable and fulfilling lives. Whether you are a business owner, entrepreneur, leader, or professional, it can be a constant struggle to integrate work and life. Some say work-life integration is a myth, but it depends on how you view it. It’s simply giving the your attention to the right thing at the right time. It’s succeeding at your work without compromising your own well-being or that of your loved ones.
Integration can be especially difficult for business owners and entrepreneurs:
- 90% of all startups fail (20% within the first year)
- The average entrepreneur works 66 hours per week as compared to 47 hours per week of workers (Technology Advice)
- 42% of business owners overall feel burned out and 62% of minority-owned business owners reported the same experience Yahoo Finance)
- Over 73% of business owners admit to having felt lonely whilst running their company, with a third saying that this is how they feel on a regular basis (CEO Today Magazine)
- 73% of entrepreneurs are affected by mental health conditions (Startup Grind)
There are endless resources to help you grow your business, but who is supporting and helping you! We use the R.E.S.T. Framework to help you formulate a plan so you can thrive in every area of life:
*Tangible (physical, financial, work)
My core philosophy of coaching is this:
Success and fulfillment come through and wholeness and integration, not just achievement.
Integrity is the “state or quality of being whole, complete, or undivided.” (Merriam-Webster). Many people feel they have to choose between a successful career and personal fulfillment. I believe you can have both!
As we work together, you will become a whole person and your business will grow, too.
Healthy rhythms, healthy person, healthy business.
Because all great leadership begins with self-leadership.
“I’ve had the privilege of learning from Kent for over 15 years. Wise. Centered. Creative. Resilient. Those are all words I have watched him model for me and countless others. It’s my pleasure to recommend Kent to you as a thinking partner and leadership coach!”

Coaching Worked for Me
I’ve had my share of struggles through the years. I’ve battled through addiction, disappointments, burnout, financial lack, my own ego, marital difficulties, and other leadership challenges along the way. I get it. Life can often be disappointing and overwhelming. Through trial and error, I’ve learned to integrate my personal and professional life in the midst of difficult circumstances. Now I want to help you. It was coaching that helped me get unstuck and move toward my dreams, desires, and a more fulfilling life. It gave me the push to finally start my own business; something I had dreamed of doing for years. And with the help of a coach, I was able to see things from a new perspective, identify obstacles that were keeping me stuck, and move forward with confidence toward my goals.
Work with Me
I have a simple three-step plan (that only works with your intentional work and effort). Together we will:
What Is Coaching?
Leaders thrive on movement. A coach comes alongside motivated people who want to grow with support, encouragement, and accountability. My desire is to draw out what is already in you by believing in you, actively listening, asking great questions, working with you to define clear action steps, and holding you accountable to those steps. In the words of the late John Whitmore,
Coaching is unlocking a persons potential to maximize their growth.
Coaches are “change experts who help leaders take responsibility and act to maximize their own potential.” (Dr. Joseph Umidi) Here’s how coaching differs from other disciplines:
- Counseling addresses past hurts and feelings to you find healing
- Teaching gives acquired knowledge to a pupil
- Mentoring is sharing wisdom and experience from your journey to help others
- Consulting is giving expert advice to other professionals
A Coach is a thinking partner who comes alongside an individual with support, encouragement, and accountability to help them realize their own dreams, goals, and desires and maximize their potential.
Successful coaching begins with a leader who is ready to take responsibility for their own life.
“I had the opportunity to walk with Kent as he developed his natural gifts and became coach-trained. Through that process, I saw firsthand his passion to come alongside the weary and breathe new life into leaders. Kent is a gifted coach; he is invested, wise, empowering, and intuitive. I wholeheartedly recommend him.”

Is Coaching for You?
Coaching is for motivated leaders who desire to take initiative, embrace responsibility, and lead with courage. In short, if you are not motivated to grow, coaching won’t help you. Simply having the right information doesn’t bring transformation; applying that information in the context of our experiences and relationships does. As your coach, I am trained to come alongside you to help you experience lasting change and achieve your goals. Some of the best times to employ a coach are times of major transition or when you are feeling stuck. Here are some common issues that coaching can help you with:
- How do I discover your purpose in life and align it with my career?
- How do I integrate my personal life with my professional life?
- How do I make more money so I can do more of what I love and less of what I don’t?
- How do I gain more time to do the things I am really passionate about?
- How do I navigate a major life or leadership transition?
- How do I find clarity and know where to put my focus?
- How do I move forward in areas of life where I feel stuck?
- How can I perform at a higher level in my current role?
Regardless of the industry, coaching can help you maximize your leadership.
What a great opportunity to work with Kent! As I was looking to pursue a new career, Kent guided me to think about my own strengths and weaknesses and the steps I needed to take to get there. On the coaching journey, he actively listened and continuously asked for my thoughts so he could help me move toward my dreams and desires. I have seen positive growth within myself, and I am currently taking steps to pursue a new career this year. It is my pleasure to recommend Kent as your coach!
