Your Purpose Is an Adventure!
Why do I exist? What on earth am I here for? How can I make a difference in the world? If you’ve ever asked yourself these questions, the Purpose Adventure is for you.
A Needle in a Haystack…
Discovering your purpose can seem like searching for a needle in a haystack. It can leave you feeling confused and disoriented, especially as you navigate the complexities of your teenage years and get closer to graduating high school. Search Amazon for books on purpose, and you will find over 50,000 results. With so many resources available, which one is the right one?
The truth is, your purpose is not a mystery to solve, it’s an adventure to live!
Welcome to the Purpose Adventure
Imagine living your high school years with clarity and graduating with a clear sense of purpose. You would be leaps and bounds ahead of most people your age.
If that sounds great, then the Purpose Roadmap is for you!
Let’s Make it H.A.P.E.N.
Together, we will make it H.A.P.E.N. as we discover your Heart passions, determine your Abilities, assess your Personality, learn how your Experiences inform your purpose, and help you find your Network or the people you are meant to help and influence.
You will come out with a one-page purpose statement to help you assess where you are now and guide your future opportunities.
If you care about reaching your potential and making a difference, then the Purpose Adventure is for you!
The Purpose Roadmap is part of the STEAM Creative Writing Track this summer at RBTV >>
By the end of this program you will have:
- Clarity about your big-picture purpose
- Discovered your Heart passions, Abilities, and Personality
- Defined concrete steps that will help you move toward your purposes in life
- Identified your spheres of influence and the people you are called to serve and impact
- Leveraged your personality and experiences to help you make a difference in the lives of others
- Penned a personalized written purpose statement to use as a filter to evaluate your current reality and guide future opportunities
The goal: use that written statement to define a concrete step(s) and start moving toward more meaning and fulfillment in your life!
Clarity Begins with Honesty
In early 2020, at 45 years old, my purpose felt as foggy as pea soup. This was foreign to me. For twenty years, I had lived with a clear sense of purpose and direction, but now I had so many questions. Questions like: Does my purpose change? Why do I feel so lost? Do I have just one purpose or many? What does it mean that I feel less passionate about things I thought would be my purpose for a lifetime? Have I somehow missed my purpose? Where do I go from here?
So, I decided to disrupt things a bit. During the season of Lent in 2020, I took 40 days away from the noise of social media to explore my purpose. It was back to the drawing board where I journaled and reflected, poured over the Scriptures, read books and articles, and prayed about it. After forty days, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to keep going.
Forty turned into sixty days, and sixty days turned into ninety days…
And then something began to surface. I now call it The Purpose Roadmap.
What Is The Purpose Roadmap?
The Purpose Adventure is an interactive program that includes a weekly teaching segment, interactive exercises, discussion with people on a similar journey, and “hot seats” where you get to bring a question, challenge, or obstacle and receive coaching from Kent and encouragement from the group.
Meet Your Teacher
Hi, I’m Kent. At age 15, I led a group of friends to rappel off a bridge with a garden hose and rubber gloves. Admittedly, not my best idea, but I’ve been leading ever since.
Since then, I’ve led or founded three organizations, written two books, coached high achievers across multiple industries, and captivated audiences both large and small on four continents for over two decades.
A Final Note from Me to You
Everyone has a purpose (in fact, I believe you have more than one) and is meant to do something fulfilling and meaningful. As Henry David Thoreau once said, “One is not born to do everything but to do something.” Many people are afraid that their purpose has somehow passed them by, but what is usually missing is clarity and the next steps to live it out.
I created The Purpose Roadmap to help you move from constantly searching for your purpose to confidently living it out.
And that’s exactly what we will do…together!
